that loving feeling

happy lovers day! feeling a bit lonely as my boyfriend is currently in boulder, colorado with his best mate enjoying the snow, but i'll be on my way to see him tomorrow in hawaii! will post as much as i can while i'm there, but you can expect a nice big post when i'm home in 10 days time too. hope everyone's feeling loved and content - beyond all the commercialised crap, it can actually be a really worthwhile day.. show someone that you really do care! go on.. spread the luuurve.

hipster saturday.

last night the girls from work and i got together to celebrate vessy's 20th birthday at the winery in surry hills. if you haven't been - GO! the food is out of this world and the cocktails are absolutely fabulous, the service flawless and the place itself has a great quirky little vibe. we always tease vessy about being a little bit hipster in her fashion taste, and so to dedicate the night to her we all dressed up in our very best floral dresses, bandana's and hipster glasses, which she absolutely adored!

i've developed a little bit of a style crush on model-turned-jewellery-designer nikki phillips. she has a beautiful blog which documents a highly enviable wardrobe and social life.. i thoroughly enjoy living a socialite life through it! if you haven't checked it out, it's called styled by phillips but don't blame me when you start getting serious clothing envy. she's consistently got sneak previews from designers for upcoming collections, and with her stunning body, she looks amazing in all of them! well worth having a look...

i'm getting a little impatient.

on the 15th of february, i will be lying on that beach, in my new seafolly bikini, with my new ray-ban sunnies, lapping up the rays and joyfully awaiting the arrival of my boyfriend after being apart for 3 and a half weeks.

stylestalker

adding to the a/w files is the 'come as you are' collection from stylestalker. i have been anticipating this collection for SO long! i've already bought two items (it was released online this morning!) and i'll be making them a feature in the clothes i wear in hawaii. i love the sequins, metallics and the beautiful blue toned print - so on trend. it's exactly what i'd expect from the stylestalker girls - and i mean that in the best way possible. my expectations have been exceeded further and beyond than i thought possible!

it's that time of the year when all the autumn winter lookbooks start appearing and i am LOVING jardin exotica by bec & bridge. such an incredible collection which is completely up to the b&b standards. i love that for once we have an a/w collection which looks as wonderfully bright as a s/s one! can't wait to get my hands on the beautiful cloud print, the parka, and the wonderful striped knitted top. available online and in stores in a few days!
