I'd like to start this post by apologising. I'm sincerely sorry if these images have made you feel cold, I'm completely aware of the fact that looking at pictures of shorts or a bikini is not particularly enticing at this time of the year. But the point of this post is to prepare you for one that I have coming up. As most of you would know, I work for Seafolly and when you work for a company that revolves around the brilliance of summer, you can't help but get hyped up by their vibe. So, to prepare you all for the onslaught of summery goodness I have in the next post, I thought I'd provide a lovely little summary of all the things I love about the season. For me, summer is gelato, bright pops of colour, smoothies, beach hair, denim shorts, summer fruit, fresh lemonade and of course, bikini's! It smells of salt water, coconut, BBQ's and moroccan oil. Everything's brighter, the days last longer and the joy of the holidays is completely electric through the air. 

Wait till you see what Seafolly's got coming.. Behati Prinsloo (above) in the shimmer macrame bikini is such a stunner. The first summer drop has well and truly hit stores and the campaign previews have been brilliant. Can't wait to show you what I've got planned!

in summer, i'm going to be a brunette candice swanepoel. all tanned and leggy with peachy bronze make up and wearing strappy heels with sheer white button ups and metallic jacquard short shorts. seriously, i bought them from topshop the other day, so seeing this made me incredibly excited. i know i'm supposed to be focusing on winter right now.. but my eczema is flaring up thanks to all the heating drying out my skin and rain is just incredibly annoying. don't get me wrong, winter has it's pretty days, like the one today if you're in sydney.. it's crisp but the sun's out and it's beautiful blue skies with a slight breeze. but when you work for a company that put's it's heart and soul into everything summer and you're getting so pale that there's no differentiation between the colour of your behind and the rest of your skin (don't pretend you don't know what i'm talking about.. winter's officially hit when you're the same colour all over). so for now, i'll sit here contently in my mint coloured knit and chunky gold bracelets, dreaming about lacey short shorts and tans and beach hair and neon nails.

loving these shots from a preview event in melbourne of tony bianco's SS12/13 collection! i've already got my heart set on the flats with metallic detailing, the heels which are essentially the big sister version of the flats and i definitely wouldn't mind those white heels with the silver capped toe. clearly, neutrals with a splash of metallic is gonna be tickling my tastebuds this upcoming season. sydney's first day of rain in awhile has made seeing this collection even more unbearable.. bring back the summer sun and strappy heel weather!
